The Ballad Of Me Of My Friends...

So I started out the day downloading music until my mp3 was full :) There is literally zero room left. Most of it is Frank Turner though I have to admit <3 I mean, what a genius that man is, I'm in love with his work. His new album ('England Keep My Bones') came out this week... I haven't really listened to it properly but so far it looks good. Maybe not as good as some of his earlier stuff but I'll give it time.

Got dressed about 12:00 pm and got ready to go meet Dannii and Elly in town. Had such a good time!! Started off with a chicken burger and chips in Montys then hit the shops for a bit of Retail Therapy ;) And a good natter. Every girl's best friends... And of course, a sneaky Starbucks!! Talked about all sorts today, mostly boyfriends :L It was funny I have to admit. But back to the shopping. We hit all the little alleys with the cute little shops which was a welcome change from River Island and Topshop! Although, Elly bought a pair of bright pink skinny jeans from Topshop! They were so funky and she could totally pull them off. I'd never have the confidence and also my legs are waaay too chubby for skinnies :L Going for a more conventional route, again I'm going to follow the crowd and buy some Chinos. I don't want real tight ones though, I'd prefer baggier!!

I also re painted my toe nails BLUE xD Hehe, I like having nice toe nails, they just make me so much happier! Even though I hardly ever go out in anything other than converses :L They look nice when I get up in the morning and in the shower though! So it's for personal gain really :) But then again, summer is coming so maybe the flip flops and gladiator sandals will make an appearance! Well, they will when the weather gets better!! It was weird today... One minute it was blue skies, the next literally pouring down with rain... Makes it really hard to know what to put on. So in the end, I decided on grey t-shirt, black skirt, black tights, converses and my Superdry hooded shirt thingy :) I think I got it right for once :P Considering the weather!!

So once again, it's been a beautiful day :) It felt really mellow and laid back which was lovely and when the sun did make an appearance, it made it even better. It was nice to catch up with friends and have a real girly chat :) I'm now sat in my living room, watching tv, in my pj's :) I also have on my knitted long beanie hat with the bear face and ears sewn on and my primark men's cardigan, feeling really snuggly. All I need now is a hug off Fergus and it'd be a poiiifect day :) Hope all your day's were equally as good :)
