Music, Clothes & Glasses :)

After that blip the other day, I feel so much better!! Talked to a friend who gave some good advice and by the end of the day felt like maybe the world wasn't ending ;)

Went to an open mic night at The Anchor in Shrewsbury on Sunday night to give moral support to The Parallax (not that they needed it!). I had such a good night listening to not only them but other local artists as well. And it definitely helped lift my spirits! I may be slightly bias, but The Parallax played amazingly! I loved it :) It was also nice to hang out with people who weren't my normal set of friends... They were my boyfriend's mates and although they pick on me, it was awesome fun xD Here are some photos of the band from a previous open mic night:

Had my last exam yesterday, messed up it up big style but I'm not worrying about it now. There's no point.seeing as I can't do anything about it now. I'll worry when I have the envelope in my hand in August :P

But on the plus side... I now have just less than a week off until I have to go back to college :) Five glorious days of doing nothing and not having to worry about having work to do. I mean, I've still gotta get some theory done for driving and carry on looking into getting a job but not having any revision and coursework to do feels so good!

Spent today with Fergus :) <3 I hadn't seen him properly for ages so it was really nice. Just had a quiet day in watching tv and chatting, which was absolutely fine with me. I love being lazy and doing nothing ;) I'd also just like to add that he gives the best hugs in the world ^_^ Lmao.

Tomorrow I'm off to meet up with a friend for the afternoon in town. Last minute plans but I can't wait for a catch up and a coffee! Haven't had a proper talk for a while due to one thing or another but it should be good :) I hope its sunny!! And Friday actually... I'm meant to be going for a jam in the Quarry with another friend and then go busking so the weather better be good :P

So... There's a few items of clothing that I really want at the moment!! Top of the list are dungaree's, espadrilles (I know EVERYONE is wearing them but they are so summery and awesome that I can't resist) and I also need some new trouser's and tops. I was looking on H&M earlier and found a awesome pair of dungaree's: 

I hate the way the model is really pretty and skinny though :P I definitely don't look like that, as much as I wish I did. I need to lose a bit of weight though to be honest. It's going to be a target for summer! But back on topic... They're a pretty good price (30 squids) and exactly the type of thing I was looking for :)

The espadrilles though... They're another matter entirely! H&M didn't really have any which suprised me. New Look on the other hand had sooo many funky prints! Though I have to admit, these were my favourites despite their plain-ness ^_^ 

And again, they're a good price. I sound like a cheapskate but due to my lack of job and therefore, lack of funds... I am being forced to think low :P

Went to the opticians the other day about the headaches I keep getting. Apparently, I've gone from being a little bit short sighted to really long sighted which is weird. So my eyes were straining to make up for it and wearing the wrong sort of glasses was making it worse. Bought some new ones now though :) Just waiting for them to come back from where ever they have to put the lenses in. The people in the shop said it could take 10 working days from yesterday... So two weeks :L Which is annoying but hey. I really want them to hurry up and come, the headaches are so annoying and the glasses are actually pretty cool, they're Ray Ban frames xD Haha, I can't wait! I'll post a photo when I get them :)
