Hello, I Love You...

Wasn't going to post again so soon, but I had an interesting English lesson which got me thinking... Because we're studying Romeo and Juliet, we're looking at different themes. Today, we started on Love. Which sounds all really obvious and cheesy... Until you start to look at the different types of love. And the definition of love. Which we had to do today. Everyone had to write down on a piece of paper what they thought love was, it could be serious, soppy, scientific, silly, funny... Whatever we wanted. So I decided on...

"Love is holding someone's hair back at three in the morning when they're puking down the toilet"

I liked it personnally ;) Even though it wasn't a serious one and there were much better. Joe's was: "Answering a drunk phone call in the early hours hours of the morning and talking to them until they fall asleep". Another funny one but I liked it :) It just got me thinking about what love really is! Fergus says that love isn't real, because it's just a feeling and what we really feel is lust... But I don't agree. Because, like a friend said, that also means that feelings such as happiness and sadness don't exist either! And you know when your in love... It's not something you can explain. Antony said "I'd define love as soemthing undefinable because it's different for everyone - to some it's the connection they share between them and another, to others it's being able to do anything for one another." And I totally agree with this.
But...
Love is love. And love is whatever you want it to be.
