"I miss you, your music, your musk and your kisses... I don't think I can do this" (8)

Been meaning to post for the last couple of days, just haven't got round to it with one thing or another. My bad. But hey, I'm here now :)

Friday night, I went back to Fergus' house after college where I was taught to play Xbox (COD Black Ops apparently?!) by him and Antony... Which, as much as I hate to admit it, was actually pretty fun. I've kicked up a fuss every time Fergus tries to get me to play it and it does look boring. But it's actually fun when you play. Although, I can't really move because I can't get the hang of the walking and looking where I'm going :L So Fergus got me to where I had to be then I stayed where I was and shot anyone who walked through the door :) Which I thought would be bad, but it's kinda cool! And although I'm ashamed to say it, I kinda want another go... Oh god... I don't even sound like myself any more :P Oh well. It was worth it I guess, even if it does mean that Fergus got his own way in the end!

After messing around on the Xbox, we went to a garden party down the road. Even though it was raining. And cold. And even though I had persuaded Fergus (with Antony's help) to go, which, in itself, was an achievement, I didn't really feel like going when it came down to it.
Now, I don't drink regularly, so when I do, it doesn't take much. In fact, it was embarrassing how little it took before I genuinely was about to be sick and apparently couldn't walk in a straight line :L At which point, due to me feeling ill, Fergus took me back to his where we sat and watched TV which was really nice :) Well, actually, I kinda just fell asleep on him and mumbled unintelligible things... He tried to watch TV :L It was the first time I actually had a good night's sleep at his house!! I think it was cos I was just zonked out and fell asleep as soon as I closed my eyes :L
I am totally ashamed and embarrassed of my behaviour. But at least I didn't have hang over the next morning and I know from past experiences,  it could've been a wholeeee lot worse :P

Saturday, I left Fergus' at about 12 and went home for a couple of hours before having to go out to work. I've started going to events with my uncle and auntie doing face painting. This week we were at Adcote School. It was actually pretty good :D And I'm starting to get the hang of it a bit better now and I'm real good at Butterflies and Tigers ;) Hehehe. It's cool when you show the kid their face in the mirror and they get really excited. It's rewarding when you know they like it :)

Had an audition last Thursday for Youth Music Voices. It's a choir of about 120 young people who perform in events leading up to the London 2012 Olympics. So it would be amazing to be part of it and a brilliant experience. They were short of people in this area of the country so they came to college for to audition students. I almost didn't do it because the girl before me was amazing and sung a song from 'Phantom of the Opera' which I totally didn't want to follow but hey, I thought what have I got to lose?
They wanted two contrasting pieces so I sung 'Someone Like You' by Adele and 'For Good' from 'Wicked'. I was completely surprised by the reaction I got though. They actually liked me :O And said nice things. It made my week!! I'm not used to people saying nice things about my voice... Normally I get told to shut up :L I'm not bragging, I was just genuinely shocked :') I mean, I doubt I'll get in because you have to be amazing, but it was totally worth the audition experience if nothing else and I'm glad I did it. I didn't tell anyone I was doing it and I wan't going to but I was too excited to keep it too myself :P

Got my Dad a 'Wonders of the Solar System' book by Brian Cox for Father's Day yesterdat :) Cos we always used to watch it together. Not my normal sort of programme but I've always loved anything to do with Space, ever since I was little. I used to have have a hanging Solar System in my room and a telescope I used to spy on the neighbours when I lived in my old house ;) I'm kinda geeky like that xD Hehehe.
My brother got him the DVD of 'Paul' which was awesome, we watched it yesterday :) And my sister got him some new aftershave (CK One). I think he was really chuffed with them ^_^

Speaking of my sister, I left the early to get to the bus stop this morning just so I could get out the house. She missed the bus to school because she and our parents were having such a huge row. It was horrible, I have to say. All she eats is chewing gum these days, which is bad in the circumstances. Plus it gives her heartburn all the time which can't be a good sign either. And my parents think she keeps exercising all the time. I'm worried about her. I don't want her to get ill again :( Also, my parents are angry and tetchy all the time... It's not a good atmosphere. Not like I'm not used to it by now but it's still annoying as hell!!

So today didn't start out that well and it just carried on getting better and better -_- I spent my free periods by myself editing photos I took over the holiday. Which was more productive than traipsing round town but I'd have preferred to be with someone just cos I wasn't in the mood to be alone today. I was meant to meet Dan but he came with one of his friends that I didn't know that well and I would have felt mean dragging him away so I said I'd go do work instead :) Which was kinda true.

I'm sure tomorrow will be better though :) Planning on finally having a band practise with Alex, Tom and Lam over lunch then I normally spend my last period with Tom which is always fun. I've also got my tutorial meeting with my tutor which should be interesting... I kinda want to talk about Uni's and the future and what not :) Need to start looking into it and sending off for prospectuses.

But anyway, tomorrow is a new day and I want to go to bed and start again fresh :) Xo

Oh, and this is the dog I want when I'm older :') I need to think of a name though...

I think he looks like a Benji :') <3 I love him already...
