Mr Expendable & Miss Bubbly Worrier... The Super Hero's Of Our Time

So I've had a very uneventful day. Literally played guitar and violin until my fingers stung too much to carry on. I still couldn't seem to get anything right though, no matter how much I practised and tried to memorise patterns, I just couldn't play things right. Naturally this annoyed the absolute crap outta me :P But usually I give up, not today though. So I guess that's something.

Dropped my sister off at a party earlier. Because of where I live, parties are usually out in the middle of no where on people's farms where there's loads of room :L This one was aaaaages away and up loads of really small, tight lanes where there was barely enough room for one car, let alone two :L Which aren't uncommon round here because I live in the country. I don't know why I decided to go with my dad to drop her off... I think I just needed to get out the house. I'm sick of staring at the same walls. But anyway, I was sure glad I did. We had to drive round to the other side of one of the massive hills round here (The Lawley) but the scenery was amazing. The sun was starting to go down and I've never seen anywhere look more peaceful in my life. The sun was lighting up all the fields in the valley and we had the window open so it smelt like fresh cut grass, which is the best smell ever. It was just so serene and beautiful, it made me happy just to get to see it in that moment :) Though I wish I'd had my camera with me so I could share it with you guys. But I've promised to take the boyfriend for a walk up one of the hills, seeing as he loves walking so much (I hate it :P). So I'll take some photos then :)

Watched the 2010 version of 'Karate Kid' earlier :) I thought it was awesome even though apparently, according to Anto, it's a "kids film". Jaden Smith is amazing in it and so believable. But I guess with Will Smith as a dad, there's no way he couldn't be. I love the theme of never giving up throughout it, it's relevant in so many areas of my life at the moment. So as silly as it may sound, I'll be taking a little inspiration from it I think :) Fergus said he's going to make me watch the 1984 version at some point so hopefully that'll be just as good!

I was watching the last episode of 'Made In Chelsea' earlier. I think it's waaaaay better than 'The Only Way Is Essex' :L I love Ollie so much! His facial expressions are comical. But they also play brilliant music! I heard some lyrics earlier, decided to Google them and came out with 'Panic Chord' by Gabrielle Aplin. It's such a good song! Been listening to some of her other stuff as well, I'd definitely recommend a listen :)

Meeting Dannii tomorrow for the first time in ages. Cannot wait because I miss her so much and we really need a catch up. So we're off for a Starbucks in town (just gotta watch that calorie intake). Also, Caitlin is coming over on Tuesday so we can make a start on our photography projects. I've finally got some ideas for mine! I'm thinking of making a comment on how, as a society, we will never be happy with ourselves. So I'm going to get looooads of people to write a confession/something they don't like about themselves on a piece of card and something they do like then hold it up in front of their face. I got the inspiration partly from Glee and partly from things like 'Dirty Little Secret' by The All-American Rejects, which is exactly the sort of thing I'm going for... Now I just need the models ;)

I've been having a pretty interesting conversation with a very good friend (he may not want to be named) tonight about how he categorizes people's personalities. Like a couple people are "rage-a-holics" according to him and he classes himself as "expendable". Which I do not get. Because there is no way anyone could EVER replace him. Like I've had a bit of a down day today and I knew, if I talked to him, I'd cheer right up because he's that kinda guy. We talk about all sorts of random stuff, like this for example! He won't tell me why he thinks this but whatever the reason is... It's not true. I know it's not. Apparently, I'm classed as a "bubbly worrier". I love this term :P But apparently it's because I worry to the point of paranoia about things but I also have a fairly "fun and happy" personality. It could be worse :) Hehe. But he did kind of prove my point as I now feel so much better and I'm enjoying the on-going conversation :P Thought this photo was fairly fitting...

Well, I originally thought I didn't really have much to talk about, but it seems I did :P Sorry for the long post yet again... I have a habit of this :P But now guys n gals, I'm off to bed seeing as I'm making more and more spelling mistakes (thank god for auto correct) and it's now 2:15 am, Monday morning...
